Best Stats for Augmentation Evoker in The War Within
Augmentation's Stat Priority prefers Mastery over its other stats and wishes to avoid versatility at all costs. Chronowarden's Double-time increases the value of Critical Strike Chance to be approximately equal to Mastery while Scalecommander increases haste with Bombardments and Extended Battle.
Stat Priority for Augmentation Evoker in The War Within
Chronowarden Stat Priority
- Intellect;
- Haste, up to around 5-10% (For comfort)
- Mastery = Critical Strike
- Haste
- Versatility.
Chronowarden's node Double-time brings Critical Strike Chance up in power to be equal to Mastery.
It is worth stressing that all non-versatility stats are very close in value, and that this is merely a rough guideline. Furthermore, stats are so close together we suggest pursuing comfort and getting Haste to between 5% and 10% until you feel happy with the rotation cadence and splitting the rest between Mastery and Critical Strike Chance while avoiding Versatility on every single item where possible.
Scalecommander Stat Priority
- Intellect;
- Haste, up to around 15-20%.
- Critical Strike = Mastery = Haste (over 20%)
- Versatility.
It is worth stressing that all non-versatility stats are very close in value, and that this is merely a rough guideline. Furthermore, stats are so close together we suggest pursuing comfort and getting Haste to between 15% and 20% until you feel happy with the rotation cadence and getting as much Mastery as you can on your remaining pieces while avoiding Versatility on every single item. Critical strike chance is also better for Scalecommander because of the higher personal scaling damage output that Scalecommander has.
Whilst this is fairly generic advice for your gearing, to get more accurate information simming your character is always best to get an idea of what gear your character should use for any given combat scenario. It is important to read the caveats mentioned on the Simulations page with respect to Augmentation as there are more of them compared to simming other Specialisations. You can find this linked below:

Getting a Better Understanding of Augmentation Evoker Stats
Intellect is your primary stat. You should look for this stat in all of your upgrades. It provides you with Spell Power, which increases the damage of your spells.
Mastery ( Mastery: Timewalker) causes empower spells you cast to give a DPS Shifting Sands which grants Versatility to another ally for 10 seconds. Additionally, it increases the duration of Shifting Sands, Breath of Eons, Ebon Might, and other helpful Auras.
Critical Strike increases your chance for your abilities to deal 200% damage. Sands of Time means your Ebon Might extension effects can Critically Strike, increasing the amount of extension granted by 50%.
Haste increases your spell casting speed (including Empowered Spells) and the tick rate of your periodic effects.
Versatility increases all your damage and healing done, and decreases all damage taken.
