Augmentation Evoker PvP Guide — The War Within (11.0.5)

Evokers are the newest class being introduced in Dragonflight and Augmentation is the first ever support specialization added to the game. In PvP, they are there to enable their team to do more damage, not get interrupted, and make it easier to land a kill on an enemy. The playstyle of Augmentation Evoker is unique, and nothing like it has been seen in the game before.

Strengths

• Great mobility
• Countless spells to help teammates land a kill
• Multiple instant healing spells to keep teammate alive
• Several defensives make it very difficult to kill

Weaknesses

• If mobility is not used properly, easy to crowd control
• Very little crowd control
• 30 yard range on spells makes it an easy swap target to kill

• Tail Swipe is now learned baseline for Evokers.
• Permeating Chill is now baseline for Evoker.
• Unravel damage increased by 25%.
• Clobbering Sweep reduces Tail Swipe's cooldown by 2 minutes (was 45 seconds).
• Heavy Wingbeats reduces Wing Buffet’s cooldown by 2 minutes (was 45 seconds).
• Renewing Blaze is no longer affected by healing received modifiers (both positive and negative). Dampening in arena is a special case and will continue to decrease the healing of Renewing Blaze.
• Heavy Wingbeats and Clobbering Sweep are no longer a choice node, and their position has changed in the class tree.

• New Evoker Class Talents:
  • Renewing Blaze and Source of Magic have swapped positions.
• New Augmentation Evoker Talents:
  • Arcane Reach
  • Imminent Destruction
  • Rumbling Earth
• Multiple talents have moved from 2 points to 1 point nodes.
