Multidotting is the act of using a DoT ability, such as Barbed Shot, on multiple different targets. By always ensuring that you are casting Barbed Shot on a target with no existing DoT, or at least the target with the lowest remaining DoT duration, you are maximizing the damage that Barbed Shot does overall.

With certain talents, like Master Handler, this playstyle can represent a serious DPS increase, upwards of 10%.

No, there are no Haste breakpoints to note for Beast Mastery. At 30% Haste from rating, all future Haste will start giving progressively less Haste% per Haste point. Some think of this as a "cap", but Haste can be your best stat even beyond this point.

The truthful answer is that if you have to ask, it does not matter. The difference between the best and the worst races is 1-2% at most. Dwarf and Tauren are the most common top choices. If you want to maximize this side of your character, we recommend simming it on Raidbots.
