Overview of Expeditions in New World: Aeternum
In New World: Aeternum, dungeons are called "expeditions", where it is a seperate instance that will allow a group of up to five players enter a specified map with a group of expedition-specific mobs and bosses.
Each expedition includes a range of unique mob types and bosses, with each boss fight having a very unique set of battle mechanics that you will need to master to come out on top.
Every expedition within the game can be found below, which includes a direct link to an individualized, comprehensive guide focused on what to expect in each dungeon, and how you can succeed in it.
Amrine Excavation
Located in Windsward, the Amrine Excavation will be the first expedition most players will experience. This expedition is designed for players level 25 and above with an average gear score of at least 200. The Starstone Barrows
Located in Everfall, Starstone Barrows is designed for players level 35 and above with an average gear score of at least 300. You will find primarily Ancient mobs here, which are weak to Strike, Void, and Lightning damage. Click the button below to view the comprehensive guide.
The Depths

The Dynasty Shipyard

The Lazarus Instrumentality

Empyrean Forge

The Ennead
Located in Brimstone Sands, The Ennead is designed for players who are level 60 and above with an average gear score of at least 590. You will find a mix of corrupted and ancient mob types in this expedition. Click the button below to view the comprehensive guide.
Savage Divide
Located in Elysian Wilds, Savage Divide is designed for players who are level 62 and above with an average gear score of at least 625. You will find primarily beast type mobs in this expedition.
Glacial Tarn
Located in Great Cleave, Glacial Tarn is designed for players who are level 65 with an average gear score of at least 630. You will find a mix of Human and Ancient type mobs in this expedition.
Mutated Expeditions
If these expeditions are too easy for you, you will be able to challenge yourself and try out the "Mutated" variations of each expedition. There are three levels of mutated expeditions, with level three being the most challenging.
