Is there an optimum time to judge? I mean, should I time it with a weapon swing, or, just press it as soon as it's off cooldown?

I know your post is specifically about tanking, but as you have healed, I can also recommend dipping your toes into trying Resto Druid too. A lot of fun. As for Druid Tank, what Tarazet said really - get some heirlooms & dive in. The over-zealous DPS shouldn't die while leveling. The healer should easily be able to keep u all up & just taunt what u need to. I used to target certain armor items before all the heirlooms via Wowheads database. E.g. If I did a search for a let's say 'Boots' upgrade, I'd target said quest or dungeon & go for that item. Got some xp too while leveling &am

I've been casting when possible, but not if DoT's are about to drop, or I'm at, or near max Astral Power then I'll make sure I renew my Dots, or do a Starsurge first, then cast it. I've mainly played resto too, but my questing & DPS spec has always been feral, so just picking this up, although I've played it in short spells each expansion. At least they removed the swinging bar, which I wasn't keen on.

In the guide on this website for spell rotation (priority), it states... Cast New Moon (and its other versions) to generate Astral Power. Make sure its charges are always rolling. What exactly is meant by the part I've highlighted in bold underlined? Do I use all 3 charges when possible then just watch out for 1 being available again? Do I use just 1 charge then use again when back at 3 full charges? Apologies if this is a somewhat noob-ish question.

What's the deal with Mind Sear being a passive AoE these days? It's making running old dungeons a nightmare, not to mention pulling mobs I don't want to in open world Legion zones! Shadow Priest used to be fun, but it's fast becoming the class I don't want to play anymore, which is a shame because I fell in love with it towards the end of BC & much so during WotLK expansion. How do other Shadow Priests feel about this 'passive'? Even being able to use Holy Nova would be better than this.

Can someone put me straight as to what's wrong? It works fine for travel form using 'alt' to activate/deactivate travel form.

Thanks Myaeda. Yes my Shaman is level 100 & I noticed the Improved Lightning Shield now. I will probably only ever do LFR on it, but it's good to know.

Can some please advise me about Lightning Shields / Fulmination & when to cast an Earth Shock. The DPS guide advises Cast Earth Shock, if you have 17 charges of Lightning Shield or more, in order to deal Fulmination damage. Yet the Fulmination tooltip states up to a maximum 15 charges? Does the Improved Lightning Shield part mean it gets an extra 5 up to a total of 20? Elemental isn't my main, but that doesn't mean I don't want to understand the class & do better on my Shaman alt.

Persevere with Vuhdo. It's definitely worth it. There are some good tutorials around on Youtube & the forums on plusheal.com have a dedicated Vuhdo sub-forum within Forum > Forum (scroll down to this under the class forums) > UI/Mod Discussion > Sub Forum Vuhdo Support. Also, I use TellMeWhen. I use it to keep track of my Harmony buff to make sure I keep it up & also a timer for my Wild Mushroom to make sure I keep one down.
