Mistweaver Monk PvP Best Arena Compositions — The War Within (11.0.5)
Team composition in 2v2 or 3v3 Arena is very important, because not all classes work well together. Here, we give you the best compositions you can have for your Mistweaver Monk (i.e., the best classes to pair with it).
This page is part of our Mistweaver Monk PvP Guide.
2v2 Arena
In 2v2 Arena, you will primarily be playing very far away to avoid any incoming crowd control. Ideally, when your DPS teammate stuns the kill target, you will get a Paralysis and Leg Sweep on the enemy healer. You can do this combination every minute and it is effective at getting trinkets out of the enemy team. Outside of crowd control, your primary goal is to keep both you and your team alive with your strong single-target healing.
If you plan on Fistweaving, you will be playing aggressive, utilizing your damage to pressure the enemy team. Ideally, you will Fistweave into teams with casters on it, such as Demonology Warlock, Shadow Priest or Balance Druid.
Here is a list of the best team compositions for 2v2:
- Mistweaver + Arms Warrior/Fury Warrior
- Mistweaver + Demonology Warlock
- Mistweaver + Unholy DK
- Mistweaver + Havoc Demon Hunter
- Mistweaver + Feral Druid
- Mistweaver + Assassination Rogue
3v3 Arena
Your role in 3v3 is similar to 2v2 Arena. You will likely be playing similarly to how you play in 2v2, staying at max range to avoid incoming crowd control and crowd controlling with Paralysis and Leg Sweep when your team has damage cooldowns.
Here is a list of the best team compositions for 3v3:
- Shadowplay (Mistweaver Monk + Demonology Warlock + Shadow Priest)
- Turbo(Mistweaver Monk + Arms Warrior/Fury Warrior + Enhancement Shaman)
- Shadowcleave (Mistweaver Monk + Demonology Warlock + Unholy DK)
- MLChi (Mistweaver Monk + Frost Mage + Demonology Warlock/Destruction Warlock)
- Herocleave (Mistweaver Monk + Havoc Demon Hunter + Unholy DK)
- TSG (Mistweaver Monk + Arms Warrior + Unholy DK)
