Origenics Dungeon Guide
Welcome to our guide to Origenics, the fifth dungeon of Dawntrail. This guide aims to prepare players for the dungeon so they will know what to expect, with simple mechanic instructions and notes on what to watch out for.
Introduction
With his invasion force defeated, Zoraal Ja has turned on his own people, killing them to empower himself with their souls. He now awaits Wuk Lamat at the summit of Everkeep, and if you are to reach him, you must fight your way through Origenics, the facility for processing the souls of the departed. Guided by the members of Oblivion, you and your comrades sally forth for the grueling climb to the roiling storm clouds above.
Unlocking Origenics
Origenics can be unlocked at Level 99 during the main scenario quest "The Resilient Son." It is the fifth dungeon players will encounter in Dawntrail and is located in Heritage Found. Players above Level 100 will be level synced to Level 100 when entering.
Full Dungeon Guide for Origenics
The guide for this duty will be updated as soon as we have a chance to complete it!
First Boss Trash Mobs
Apart from having heavy auto-attack damage, the Eyeclops, Katobleps, and Sentry all have additional tank hits that do heavy physical damage. If you are uncomfortable with large pulls or are undergeared it is recommended to pull one pack at a time, and make sure to rotate mitigation to ensure safety. Use the elevator interactable to head to the next floor, where there's only one trash pack before the boss.
Herpekaris
- Strident Shriek: Party-wide magic damage.
- Vasoconstrictor: Summons two poison puddles in front of the boss.
- Venomspill: The boss punches the left or right poison puddle with its hands. It will explode on that side of the arena, so move to the other side where its hand isn't raised.
- Writhing Riot: The boss shows a left side cleave, right side cleave, and back cleave in random order. Dodge after the ability goes off.
- Collective Agony: A line stack marker.
- Convulsive Crush: A physical tank buster.
Second Boss Trash Mobs
The Sentries are still here, but otherwise the mobs aren't threatening.
Deceiver
- Electrowave: Party-wide magic damage.
- Bionic Trash: The Deceiver extends its arms and does conal AoEs towards where they are.
- Initialize Androids: Summons androids at the front of the arena that do a line AoE, then spawn and must be killed. However, some androids glitch out, and the line AoE that comes from those ones are fake.
- Initialize Turrets: Summons surrets at the side of the arena that do a line AoE. They go off in order, but again some glitch out and the line AoE that comes from those ones are fake.
- Surge: The boss jumps to the front of the arena and knocks back in a line from the centre. All players get a marked AoE. Use the real turrets on the side to stop yourself from getting knocked outside the arena.
Final Boss Trash Mobs
The Automatoise in the very last room is a mini-boss, which casts Hard Stomp roughly every 25 seconds. This is a very large AoE, so players need to run out as soon as possible.
Ambrose the Undeparted
- Psychic Wave: Party-wide magic damage.
- Overwhelming Charge: Cleaves in the direction the boss is facing.
- Psychokinesis: Two cages on the side of the arena will glow, doing a line AoE from them. Adds will spawn from the cages that need to be killed.
- Extrasensory Field: Each quadrant does a knockback in the direction indicated. Stay on the edge to not get knocked outside the arena.
- Voltaic Slash: A physical tank buster.
- Psychokinetic Charge: Combined Extrasensory Field and Overwhelming Charge.
- Psychokinesis 2: Summons a sword that travels across the arena, doing line AoEs where indicated.
Later on in the fight, Psychokinesis and Extrasensory Field are accompanied with marked AoEs on all players.
Loot
