Quick TLDR Guide
1.1.
Main Phase:
- Lust/Timewarp on the pull.
- Tanks: Swap after each cast of Brutal Crush.
- Avoid Stalker's Netting.
- Destroy Stalker's Netting with Digestive Acid.
- Move away from the boss with Carnivorous Contest and soak it with other players. Avoid being dragged into the boss.
- At 0 Energy Ulgrax will leap into the middle of the room. This leap knocks players away. Do not stand on the edge of the platform.
1.2.
Intermission:
- Dodge Juggernaut Charge.
- Ulgrax takes 99% less damage in this phase.
- Kill the adds that spawn and pick up their Chunky Viscera. Use your extra action button on Ulgrax once he has finished charging.
- Tanks: One of the tanks must stay in range of Ulgrax once they have finished charging around the room.
- Healers: Ulgrax will cast Hungering Bellows repeatedly until they reach 100 energy. This increases in damage by 20% per cast.
- Each Chunky Viscera thrown into Ulgrax restores some energy and Phase 1 begins (where you can hit the boss again) at 100 energy.

Strategy Guide: Full Guide
Ulgrax cycles through two phases, one where he spends his energy and another regenerating the energy (and taking 99% less damage).
1.3.
Main Phase (Spending Energy):
- The boss will start this phase on 100 energy and this phase ends when he reaches 0 energy.
- To get the most value from your raid you should opt to Lust on pull, as there are no DPS checks on fight fight.
- Move the boss to the side of the room on pull as this will give the raid a clear path to manage Carnivorous Contest.
- Stalker's Netting
- Stalker's Netting will create pools on the ground for the raid to avoid. It will deal a very large amount of damage to any players it hits.
- After they land they will turn into Stalker's Netting. This will root any player that walks on top of it.
- Players who are targeted by Digestive Acid can position their circles to overlap Stalker's Netting to remove them.
- Effects such as Blessing of Freedom and Anti-Magic Shell can be used to run over them to remove them without being rooted.
- Carnivorous Contest
- This will target a player and create a soak circle around them. It will deal damage to all players inside of the circle and pull them towards the boss who will attempt to Devour them.
- The strength of the pull and the damage dealt is reduced by the amount of people who soaked Carnivorous Contest.
- If you have a Warlock in the raid, they can place a gateway near melee range to allow players to get pulled into the boss and then gateway to escape.
- Tanks: Brutal Crush
- This will deal a very large amount of physical damage to the current tank and apply 20 stacks of Tenderized.
- Each stack of Tenderized reduces healing recieved by 6% per stack and stacks are removed every second.
- Swap directly after each Tenderized cast.
- When Ulgrax reaches 0 energy he will leap into the middle of the room and knock players away with Hulking Crash. Make sure you are not standing near the edge of the platform as you could get knocked off!
1.4.
Heroic Changes:
- None.
1.5.
Intermission:
- During this phase Ulgrax will use Juggernaut Charge and charge from one side of the areana to the other. Any players caught in the path will take a very large amount of damage and leave a DoT on the player.
- During this phase there will also be adds that spawn in the room.
- These adds will cast Disembowel on their target which stacks.
- It is important to group these adds together and kill them quickly.
- When they die they will drop a piece of Chunky Viscera on the ground. Clicking on this will give you an extra action button to Feed Ulgrax.
- Each Chunky Viscera fed to Ulgrax will restore 4 Energy.
- Once Ulgrax has finished charging he will come back into the arena and needs to be tanked. This is the point where you can feed the boss to restore Energy and get back to Phase 1.
- Ulgrax will keep casting Hungering Bellows until 100 Energy. Each cast buffs the boss to deal more damage.
1.6.
Heroic Changes:
- None.
2.
Mythic Strategy
Currently, this tab will only contain information on what changes on Mythic. A more robust strategy will be added after the raid goes live.
1.7.
Mythic Changes:
- At least 6 players need to be hit by Carnivorous Contest. Players who soak one are given a debuff which increases damage taken from Carnivorous Contest by 500%. Immunitites work to soak the second one.
- The root from Stalker's Netting is replaced with a stun.
- An additional type of add now spawns in the intermission (Bile-Soaked Spawn) and needs to be priortised. This add will deal increasing amounts of AoE damage to the raid.
