- Fortifying Brew with Touch of Karma for damage, or with Hungering Bellows

- 1 Storm, Earth, and Fire charge again when adds spawn or at 2:00 when adds come up.

- Drop Transcendence near boss so you can get back quickly after Carnivorous Contest.

- Make sure to have Touch of Karma, Diffuse Magic, and/or Fortifying Brew up for Ingest Black Blood.

Best Talents

You can use an AOE build if assigned to focus on adds, but most likely Single Target with Yu'lon's Grace, as there's enough AOE in the single target build to do plenty.
Tips for Nexus-Princess Ky'veza for Windwalker Monk
Defensive Tips
- There are so many big damage events; try to have something up as often as you can, and coordinate with your healers to make sure you're covering anything they can't.
- You Should be able to have a cooldown up for every Nether Rift if you plan well.
- First P1: Fortifying Brew > Touch of Karma > Diffuse Magic
- 2nd P1: Touch of Karma > Diffuse Magic > Fortifying Brew
- 3rd P1: Touch of Karma > Diffuse Magic > Hopes and prayers
- Any Nether Rift that's covered heavily enough by Healers can free up one of the personals for getting targeted for Assassination. This may be the best choice anyway, depending on your group's capabilities.
Cooldown Usage
- Use on cooldown; be aware of when you may need to run out or move to avoid damage loss.
Mechanical Tips
- You can consider Escape from Reality as a useful talent. It allows you to place your Transcendence in the middle of the room, run out if targeted by Assassination, port back in afterward, then run back out if you get targeted for Twilight Massacre. The timing of things may be tight, and messing it up may wipe your group, so try at your own risk.
Best Talents
Be sure to make use of the 'Export Talents' button to import the build directly into your game!
Single Target, Magic damage is frequent enough that Yu'lon's Grace may be useful
Tips for The Silken Court for Windwalker Monk
Defensive Tips
- Use defensives liberally
Cooldown Usage
- With Xuen's Bond
- Storm, Earth, and Fire/ Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger on Pull.
- Storm, Earth, and Fire on first P1 Reckless Charge.
- Storm, Earth, and Fire/ Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger on 2nd P1 Reckless Charge.
- Use Storm, Earth, and Fire/ Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger during P2 so they aren't sitting off cooldown, but make sure they'll be up for Reckless Charges in P3.
- Storm, Earth, and Fire/ Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger on P3 Reckless Charge.
- Storm, Earth, and Fire/ Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger on 2nd P3 Reckless Charge.
- Without Xuen's Bond
- Storm, Earth, and Fire on Pull
- Storm, Earth, and Fire/ Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger on first P1 Reckless Charge.
- Storm, Earth, and Fire on 2nd P1 Reckless Charge.
- Storm, Earth, and Fire/ Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger when Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger is up during P2.
- Use Storm, Earth, and Fire once by itself during P2 so you don't overcap.
- If you'll only get 1 Reckless Charge in P3 then save Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger and 1 Storm, Earth, and Fire charge for it. If you'll get 2, you can use Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger/ Storm, Earth, and Fire one more time in P2 or at the start of P3 so it will still be up for the 2nd Reckless Charge in P3.
- You'll probably have at least one extra Storm, Earth, and Fire charge to use when it fits best for you.
Mechanical Tips
- Transcendence can be very useful to get back to the bosses after Web Vortex.
Best Talents
Be sure to make use of the 'Export Talents' button to import the build directly into your game!
- Single target, going for AOE or cleave is likely not worth it unless your tanks are insanely good at stacking them up and your raid has very little AOE damage.
- Xuen's Bond allows for using Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger on pull and then 2nd Reckless Charge in P2, 2x in P2 and for each Reckless Charge in P3.

General Defensive Usage Notes
Windwalker Monk has several defensive spells that you should plan to use and rotate throughout mechanics. You should opt to use the smaller cooldown spells often as needed with incoming mechanics and save bigger cooldowns like Fortifying Brew for large incoming damage.
- Touch of Karma
- Diffuse Magic
- Fortifying Brew
General Cooldown Usage
Windwalker Monk has a few cooldowns to think about using optimally on the fights in Nerub-ar Palace:
- Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger — Use on cooldown, pair it with other DPS cooldowns like Storm, Earth, and Fire if delaying it will not lose you a cast throughout the fight. If you don't know if it will or not, then use on cooldown as the safest strategy.
- Storm, Earth, and Fire — Used close to on cooldown while lining up with other abilities and damage bonuses. Also useful to easily tag targets for increased Spinning Crane Kick damage. Don't sit on 2 charges; always have it recharging unless you know a big damage phase is upcoming where you can use both charges.
- Ordered Elements makes the playstyle during Storm, Earth, and Fire slightly different, where you'll want to make sure to use Rising Sun Kick frequently enough that you maintain the Chi cost reduction. This may mean casting Rising Sun Kick at a higher priority in order to maintain the Ordered Elements buff.
In addition to the general rotation, you want to keep in mind that your goal is to use your cooldowns as often as possible during an encounter. With that in mind, your secondary goal is to use them at the correct time.
I highly suggest using some Addon or WeakAura to track the estimated time to die of your target/boss target. Method Raid Tools has this as an option if you are already using this addon. By tracking time to die, if you know that you can only fit one more cycle of your cooldowns in before the boss dies, you can choose to hold these cooldowns to better line up with Bloodlust, your Potion, or even your other cooldowns, trying to look for opportunities to stack all of them.
